I joined Coronation Street stars for a horror-themed night out
The stars were out in full force for the launch of Blackpool Pleasure Beach’s annual Halloween event, Journey to Hell. A whole host of soap and reality stars walked the black carpet as the event got underway for 2026, including Coronation Street child star Jude Riordan, actor John Thomson and Married at First Sight’s Amy Kenyon. Coronation Street duo Cait Fitton and Sydney Martin – who play Lauren Bolton and Betsy Swain on the soap – were also in attendance, along with ex-Emmerdale actor Anthony Quinlan and Britain’s Got Talent winner George Sampson.

TL;DR
- Blackpool Pleasure Beach's Halloween event, Journey to Hell, launched with celebrity guests.
- The event featured three scare mazes: The Veil, Deadline (a new maze), and Eternal Abyss.
- Classic rides like Alice in Wonderland and the Ghost Train were given spooky makeovers.
- Scare zones Moonshine Massacre and Carnevil were present, though noted as underwhelming.
- A kid-friendly maze, Witch Way Out?, was available during the day.
- The event offered a blindfolded ride on the Icon rollercoaster for those who visited all mazes.
- The reviewer felt the event, while fun, was steep in price for the perceived quality and suggested improvements.
