Express's own Steph Spyro named one of the top young journalists in Britain

Express Environment Editor Steph Spyro has been named one of the UK's top 30 journalists under 30. She was awarded a gong at the 2026 award ceremony on Wednesday night where judges praised her reporting which has "helped drive tangible change over the past year". The judges said: “Steph demonstrates sustained campaigning journalism with clear, measurable environmental impact… Her use of print, video, field reporting and direct confrontation shows strong cross-platform flair.”
