NASA astronaut reveals reason he is convinced aliens exist
A veteran NASA astronaut has revealed how he knows there is intelligent life in outer space, and issued a dark warning about a military showdown in orbit.
TL;DR
- Winston Scott, a former NASA astronaut, believes intelligent extraterrestrial life exists in the universe.
- He attributes this belief to the vast number of planets and the statistical likelihood of life evolving elsewhere.
- Scott expressed concerns about a potential military conflict in space, citing the placement of weapons in orbit by the US, Russia, and China.
- He noted that while Russia is a partner on the International Space Station, they are not an ally, and the relationship with China is more 'military-oriented.'
- The US Space Force has confirmed deploying weapons in orbit to counter China's actions, with a spokesperson stating space is a warfighting domain.
- The article mentions declassified Pentagon UFO files, including reports of 'skinwalkers' and tracked crafts.
- Despite warnings, Scott remains optimistic about private companies like SpaceX and Blue Origin advancing space exploration.
- The 1967 Outer Space Treaty bans nuclear weapons in orbit but not conventional weapons or military satellites.
