Bruce Forsyth’s family attacked by masked men as housekeeper’s jaw smashed

Bruce Forsyth’s family were “terrorised” by three masked burglars the late Strictly Come Dancing presenter described as “animals”. Back in 2002, Bruce’s wife Wilnelia, who was 43 at the time, his then-teenage son JJ and his housekeeper Cora Gumarang, were all held in separate rooms of Bruce’s Surrey mansion as thousands of pounds of valuables were stolen. Bruce himself had been on a golfing holiday at the time, but rushed home after the incident, in which Wilnelia’s jewellery was ripped from her hands and neck. Housekeeper Cora, meanwhile, was beaten after attempting to call the police and ripping one of the balaclavas off one of the masked intruders.
