Andy Burnham has become the first Prime Minister to join Celebrity Gogglebox for a charity special.

On Friday, the Makerfield MP will appear in No10 Downing Street on Gogglebox for Stand Up To Cancer and will be sat next to the Mayor of Liverpool, Steve Rotheram.

The pair will appear on the nation's televisions to chat through some of Britain's TV as Mr Burnham continues his drive to reach out to \"normal\" people.

The Prime Minister will be joined by the likes of comedian Joe Lycett and the Sugababes, with more names expected to be announced ahead of the episode special.

It will air at 9.05pm tomorrow night.
