Manchester United v Roma: Champions League
I went to see Michael Carrick yesterday for a bit of knockabout fun.
TL;DR
- Michael Carrick is facing significant pressure as Manchester United manager.
- The team has not won in nine games and sits 17th in the Premier League.
- Manchester United has suffered two recent Champions League defeats.
- Carrick has limited availability of key players, including a left-back and a striker.
- Carrick's future likely depends on securing two wins this week, including the upcoming match against Aston Villa.
- There were brief promising signs against Chelsea, but the performance unraveled.
- Those in authority at the club are remaining silent amid the team's poor season.
