GB News star battles fierce winds breaking live report as Storm Boelo batters UK
GB News Breakfast hosts Stephen Dixon and Sophie Reaper halted the show to bring viewers a breaking update as Storm Boelo began to hit Britain with a vengeance. Storm Austen, which hit on Friday October 23, has already led to flight cancellations, train delays and left 31,000 homes without power. This latest storm is predicted to bring more of the same. Reporter Jack Carson spoke to them from Merseyside's Crosby Beach where, despite the inclement conditions, a park run was still taking place. Wrapped up against the elements as the wind battered him he explained: "This is the second named storm of the year [with] 60 to 70 mile an hour winds in the kind of areas where we are this morning.
