Nigel Farage vs Kemi Badenoch
Kemi Badenoch is certainly not lacking in chutzpah. Two years ago I sat down to interview her at her home during the closing stages of the Tory leadership race. Barefoot, she breezed into the front room before apologising that she had to quickly sort out a DIY order (it was a new toilet seat), before we could begin. Once we got underway, I began with a softball question…why are you so confident of winning? (She was up against Robert Jenrick and James Cleverly). Her response exuded ultra confidence.

TL;DR
- Kemi Badenoch expressed strong confidence in her political future, aiming to lead the Conservative Party.
- She is seen as a dynamic contrast to Keir Starmer's leadership style.
- The primary contest for the Conservative Party is now with Nigel Farage and Reform UK for dominance on the Right.
- Recent polls suggest the Conservatives are gaining on Reform UK, although overall polls still favor Labour.
- Senior Conservatives believe Badenoch is guiding the party in the right direction and will strengthen its position.
- Reform UK faces challenges with scandals but plans to introduce a new Shadow Defence minister and launch a TV channel.
- Despite reports of being usurped in polls, Reform UK insiders dismiss these claims as "utter baloney".
